What to Expect
  • First half hour: Join an IMPACT volunteer, board member, or instructor for an overview of the IMPACT system, including its guiding principles and distinguishing features. A suited instructor also offers a behind-the-scenes "look" at the body armor,  and one or more graduates of the program speak about what their IMPACT experience means to them weeks, months, or years later.
  • Next hour: Witness the final three scenarios of the current Core Program, cheering on the participants  and seeing  first-hand what they have learned.
  • Final half hour: Hear from two or three of the participants who have just completed the Core Program, and talk one-on-one with IMPACT instructors and/or other participants.
  • Attendees: This program is appropriate for prospective students, potential funding organizations, members of the media, and anyone interested in empowerment-based self-defense. It is also an opportunity for individuals who have already completed the program to reconnect with their IMPACT experience offer encouragement and support to current participants.
